Basic Troubleshooting
We've designed LexGo to be easy and simple to use, but as with any software connected to the internet, things can happen.
I Can’t Log In
Make sure the person:
- Has an account created
- For LexGo accounts with multiple spaces, that the person has access to that space
- For LexGo accounts with multiple URLs, that the person typed in the correct URL
- Has their email spelled correctly on the login screen
- Has their email spelled correctly in the admin panel
- Uses the correct password
- If a first-time visitor, uses the first-time access code for your space
- If a returning visitor, uses the access code they created
- If still unable to login, reset their access code to the first-time access code
For events, we encourage people to log in 15 minutes before the event begins to network and explore the space. That creates sufficient time to troubleshoot login issues. Alternatively, encourage people to log in a day or two before the event to test their logins. Just make sure to tell people to remember the new passwords they create.
My Microphone or Camera Doesn’t Work
Make sure the person:
- Is using a supported browser or app (Chrome, Edge or the iOS app)
- Enables permission to use microphone and camera with LexGo
If the person says they've enabled permission for microphone and camera already, ask them to refresh the page, or close the browser tab and log in again.
My Microphone or Camera Suddenly Stopped Working
Make sure the person:
- Is using a supported browser or app (Chrome, Edge or the iOS app) and has internet connectivity
- Did not disable permission to use microphone and camera with LexGo
- Did not mute or turn on/off their audio or video (e.g. volume turned all the way down)
- Selects a working audio or video source
- To switch sources, tap the little caret icon next to the mic and camera buttons
If the problem persists, ask the person to leave the room and re-enter. This resets the audio and video connection. If the problem still persists, ask the person to refresh the page, or close the browser tab and log in again.
